So I was in the parking lot of McDonald's today, and this is what I saw:

It's an oil truck. A PINK oil truck. With the words "promoting breast cancer awareness" on the side.
I guess they are trying to do a good thing. But it just makes me sad.
I'm a mother who is Jewish, a feminist, a writer, a researcher, and an artist, among other things... Here are some things that I'm thinking about that might be interesting to you as well...

Just found your blog and read your 100 List.
You note being a mother is nothing like I thought it would be. Would you like to elaborate??
I have an on-line survey on mothering experiences linked to my blog
mymommyis.blogspot.com
I'd love to hear more about you, your son and your mothering life (with and outside of him).
Please check it out, and pass the link along to other moms you think might be interested.
THANKS!
(and by the way - I think your name is awesome!)
Interesting thought, I love pink (who cares about age), my daughter(teen) does not. For me I think I'm just making up for the colours I missed in my younger years.
Now this 'Pink oil truck' - truly out-standing idea, they're making a contribution to a cause and created an out-of-the-box PR idea too.
